Proven Leadership for Kern County

Since 2016, Alex has been serving on the Wasco City Council, where he led the effort to tackle COVID-19 in our neighborhoods, stood up to the state & helped secure a historic $25 million investment of transportation dollars, and voted to re-establish Wasco’s own Police Department.

Alex has also represented rural Kern families in various capacities, including serving on the boards of Kern Health Systems, the Kern Economic Development Corporation, and Kern Council of Governments. Notably, he is also a distinguished graduate of the Kern Leaders Academy, where he honed his skills in local leadership and collaborating with leaders across the spectrum. In every capacity of public service, Alex has demonstrated a commitment to serving Kern families first.
